🍽️ Food & Drink Around Bray
Sev7en: a sharing platter for two, €38
Fancy sharing dinner rather than negotiating over who ordered best? Sev7en’s large mixed platter is €38 for two, with cured meat, cheese, nuts, fruit, honey, olives, wafers and bread. Its Friday wine night runs 4–8pm at No.7 Albert Terrace.
The €38 is for the platter; drinks are separate. See the menu and make your evening plan.
Pink Salt: three-course value menu, €30.95
An early dinner with the price clear before you sit down: Pink Salt, 73 Main Street, serves its Friday value menu from 5–6.30pm for €30.95. Choose a starter and main, with rice or plain naan alongside the main.
Finish with a choice of tea, coffee or ice cream. A useful dinner window before the rest of the evening begins.
Daata: black dhaal with rice or naan, €17.50
For a takeaway that is not another pizza decision, Daata’s House Black Dhaal is €17.50, with a choice of pilau rice or plain naan included. The slow-soaked lentil and kidney-bean dish is on its Bray takeaway menu.
Order for collection or delivery from 4–10pm on Friday. Find Daata at 7 Strand Road; any delivery charge is separate from the menu price.

✨ Craic for the Kids
A final garden day before the gates close for the season
Today is the final scheduled opening day of Killruddery’s gardens for 2026. They are open 9.30am–5pm, with last entry at 4pm. If an autumn wander has been sitting on your “we should do that” list, this is the day to make it happen.
Book garden admission before going. Dogs are not allowed in the Formal Gardens, so this one is a family outing rather than a dog walk. The Farm Shop & Café is open 9am–5pm if you want to fit in a food stop.
A family swim at Southern Cross, €18.50
Need an indoor plan with a clear price? Shoreline Leisure Bray’s family admission is €18.50 for two adults and two children. Friday’s mid-term timetable has open-swim sessions starting hourly from 9am to 2pm; each swim lasts 50 minutes.
Find the centre on Southern Cross Road. Check the current timetable before leaving or call 01 276 5660; sessions have a capacity limit.
